Veronica is a multi-talented artist whose path to mosaics includes photography, sculpture, fabric, metals, and fused glass. She has found a home in mosaics as it builds upon her other artistic experiences. She has exhibited her work in many galleries and museums in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area including The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia City Hall Art Gallery, Noyes Museum and the Centre for the Arts. Veronica enjoys using unique materials in her mosaics and recently completed a 3-foot by 4-foot commissioned portrait utilizing stone tessarae. She also enjoys 3 dimensional mosaics with sculptural influences.
Students attending Veronica’s classes benefit from her well-rounded knowledge and skills. Veronica’s philosophy is to place emphasis on the understanding of essential mosaic skills and materials while encouraging her students’ creativity. She teaches mosaic art classes at Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood, NJ; Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, PA; and Chester Senior Center in Chester, PA. Her classes are known for the personal attention and mentoring provided to students in creating a mosaic project of their choice. All levels of expertise are welcome to attend Veronica’s classes.
